Initial Consultation – 20 minutes (video or phone)

A free consultation is a no-pressure opportunity to evaluate if the counsellor is a good match for you. 

I will take the time to understand what brings you to therapy by asking questions and learning about your needs. I will also explain my approach and the services I offer. Feel free to ask me any questions—I’m here to help you make the best choice for your journey.

If another counsellor might better fit your needs, I’d happily provide referrals to trusted colleagues.

Individual Therapy: 50 minutes (in-person or virtual)

Confidential, one-on-one session focused on helping you explore personal challenges, develop coping strategies, and work toward your goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What to Expect in Your First Session

Whether in person or online, I aim to create a safe and welcoming space for you to share your thoughts and emotions.

If we meet in my office, you will find a calm and comfortable environment to help you feel at ease. For online sessions, I encourage you to choose a quiet and private space, and I assure you that I will also be in a private, distraction-free setting to ensure confidentiality.

During our first session, we’ll:

  • Explore your needs, goals, and what you hope to gain from counselling.
  • Identify what is the most important matter at this time.
  • Begin working on tools or reflective exercises to explore between sessions.

Your feedback and questions are always welcome, as they are essential in shaping our work together. My approach combines professional expertise and compassionate guidance.
