“it’s easy to love
the nice things about ourselves
but true self-love is
embracing the difficult parts
that live in all of us
– acceptance

helping you live a meaningful life with chronic pain

acceptance & flexibility

Accepting your life with a chronic condition is difficult when those changes seem to have a negative impact on you. This can bring anger, depression, grief and loss. Being hard on yourself doesn’t help either. Through our work together, we aim to bring more flexibility to your life, understanding and adapting your new challenges to make your life feel like yours again.

pain management tools

There are many ways to bring more comfort into your life, even when experiencing chronic pain. A self-care routine is key, but preserving your energy is also crucial. You might have heard about the spoon theory, where we always evaluate how many spoons (of energy) we have for each activity. We will plan according to that to ensure we are not exerting ourselves.

self-compassion approach

Self-compassion means treating yourself with kindness and understanding during the hardships.
It involves recognizing that difficulties are a shared human experience. Moreover, it includes mindfulness, which is the ability to be aware when we are suffering and need to respond with care and compassion.
